1. Who we are
This website, campuscodetechnologies.com, belongs to CampusCode Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). CampusCode Technologies is being incorporated as a private limited company in India under the Companies Act, 2013. Until registration is complete, its businesses are owned and operated by the founder, Anjaneyulu Lokapally. In this policy, “we” means the operator described in the previous sentence: today the founder, and after incorporation, the company.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information processed through campuscodetechnologies.com, including messages sent with its contact form or to an @campuscodetechnologies.com email address.
Each of our businesses has its own website and its own privacy terms, which apply when you use it: CampusCode at campuscode.in, CampusCode Freelancing at freelancing.campuscode.in, and PromoteNexa when it launches.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you send a message with the contact form, we receive:
- your name and email address;
- the name of your university, college or company, if you give it;
- the topic you choose; and
- your message and anything else you choose to include in it.
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you send the form, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details so we can protect the form from spam and abuse. Where rate limiting is enabled, we store only a one-way hash of your IP address, for up to one hour. The notification we receive may include the country the request came from, as reported by our hosting provider.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- read and reply to your message, and send you a one-time copy of it as confirmation;
- follow up on the conversation you started, such as a partnership, a project or an application;
- protect this website against spam, fraud and abuse; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
5. Legal bases
In India, we process the personal data you give us on the basis of your consent, which you give by sending us a message, and for the legitimate uses permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected]; we will then stop using your data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:
- steps before entering a contract, at your request, when you ask about working with us;
- legitimate interests, to reply to your message and keep the website secure; and
- legal obligation, where we must keep or disclose information by law.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies used for security and bot protection. If a security check is shown on the contact form, it is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile.
If we measure website traffic, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies or track you across websites.
7. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run this website and reply to you:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, content delivery, security, email routing for @campuscodetechnologies.com addresses, the Turnstile security check and privacy-focused analytics;
- Brevo: delivery of contact form notifications and confirmation emails; and
- our email and productivity providers: storing and managing our correspondence with you.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and data-protection commitments. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
8. International transfers
We are based in India, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.
9. How long we keep information
We keep messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up. If we go on to work together, we keep our correspondence for the length of that relationship and afterwards as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it;
- withdraw a consent you gave; and
- in India, nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in the event of death or incapacity.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also object to or restrict our processing, ask for a portable copy of your data, and complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
11. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, restrict who can read messages, and keep the systems that handle them up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you find a security issue, please report it to [email protected].
12. Children
This website is meant for adults: universities, businesses, partners, investors and job seekers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our businesses and the law change. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
14. Contact and grievances
For privacy questions, requests or complaints, write to [email protected]. We will acknowledge your message and aim to resolve it promptly. If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
